Advantages and Disadvantages of Several Welding Methods for Overhead Hoist Crane

1.      Weld of Overhead Hoist Crane: Welding is a kind of connection method widely used at present. Advantages: It has strong adaptability to geometric shape, economical material use, no weakening section, convenient manufacture and processing, automatic operation, good sealing property of connection and large stiffness of structure.  Disadvantages: The connection rigidity is large , the residual stress and deformation of the structure can be easily caused , and the sensitivity of the weld to the low temperature is large .

2.      Riveting advantage of Overhead Hoist Crane: Reliable force transfer, good toughness and plasticity, easy quality inspection, good resistance to dynamic load. Disadvantages: its complex structure, large amount of steel, construction trouble, noise.

3.      Common bolt connection advantage of Overhead Hoist Crane: Easy handling and simple equipment disadvantage: When the precision of bolt is low, it is not suitable to be cut, and it is difficult to process and install the bolt when the precision is high.

4.      high - strength bolt connection  advantage of Overhead Hoist Crane: The toughness and plasticity of the joint are better, the quality inspection is convenient, and the force transfer is uniform. The structure of the dynamic load and the working structure at low temperature are of good reliability, disassembly and fatigue resistance.  Disadvantages: The friction surface processing technology of complex installation, slightly higher cost, and easy to loose under dynamic effect.

5.      Shaft connection advantage of Overhead Hoist Crane: Reliable transmission, good toughness and plasticity, easy to check the quality, anti dynamic load number, will not be loose. Disadvantage: High processing requirements.
